MOMMY KNOW'S BEST>LUTONG BAHAY

Welcome to my food tripping lutong bahay mommy know's best?I cooked for my family everyday....but sometimes take away is the best easy option that i have.Here are some of my easy lutong bahay recipe that i will share for you. Start to this seabass fish sambal,for your info.you can used any kind of fish you want: after you clean the fish heat the oil in the pan and deep fried it,set aside when you done.For the rest ingredients you will need red chili,1pc.onion,2 gloves of garlic,small ginger,tamarind paste diluted into a water if you dont have tamarind paste you can always substitute it with lime or lemon juice,2tsp.of sugar,oil,and coriander for garnishing.Then put all this ingr.in a blender,when you noticed that it start turning to a paste then that is your sambal,we go to next step: in a wok or pan heat some oil and then add the sambal paste that you blend,wait for 5minutes till you will noticed that sambal sauce starting to become thick,then add some salt for taste and its time to add the fish that you fried earlier,stir it well so that the sambal sauce will cover the fish...and thats it here is your seabass fish sambal originally a malaysian dish.
 CHICKEN CURRY WITH PINEAPPLE,POTATO,@ND SULTANA(RAISINS)
Ingredients:
Cleaned pieces of chicken
chicken masala powder 5tbs
slice 1pc.onion
garlic
ginger
tomato 2pcs.
chili
curry leaves(optional)
mustard seed
oil
Here are the cooking instructions,heat 3tbsp.oil in a pan add the mustard seed and let it splutter,add sliced onion,ginger,garlic,tomato and green chili or red,and the curry leaves sautee it well.Then mixed chicken masala powder with a little bit of water to form a paste sautee well,then add the chicken pieces,salt and a little water mixed it well cover and cooked it in a low flame till the gravy become thick.....then its ready to served?

 BANANA CAKE
3pcs.ripe banana
2eggs
2 cups self raising flour sifted
1tsp.baking powder
1cup of fresh milk

First feel the banana,put it in a bowl,and start mashing it,add the 2 eggs,flour,baking powder and a cup of fresh milk,then mixed it all together till it smooth,note you can always use electric mixer if you want....and then you ready to transfer it into a baking tins and bake it for 20 to 30mins....and thats my own easy version of banana cake,isn't it so simple enjoy making it.
 
And last but not the least a pinoy version of
TAHONG OR MUSSELS GINGER SOUP:
You will need a kilo of mussels or tahong,ginger,onion,garlic,oil and chicken knorr cubes for taste.Then heat your wok add the oil ginger,garlic onion and add 3cups of water and kapag kumulo na ang water then you can start adding the mussels or tahong and the knorr chicken cubes for taste and just make sure that you dont over cooked the mussels because the taste will be different sea shells are very tasty but if we over cooked it then it start to taste like a rubber so i hoped you enjoy my food tripping lutong bahay mommy know's best....enjoy cooking.
